The Fibre Cafe APIs are defined in OpenAPI 3 format which can easily be imported into most tools e.g. Postman. A workspace with sample requests that can be imported into Postman can be provided as required. We provide a demo sandbox environment for initial exploratory testing and access to the CVT test environment once onboarded.
All updates are released to the CVT environment first to allow for existing integration regression and we can control/fix API versions to help with migration/upgrades.
The demo sandbox offers access to a basic sandbox supplier that behaves as a simple connectivity provider/AltNet.
The CVT environment offers test simulators for most suppliers, allowing tenants to onboard and develop efficiently. More information on using these is available here.
The CVT environment also allows direct connection to supplier's own test systems. We recommend that suppliers develop and provide a test system that mirrors their production environment for tenants to use. More information for suppliers is available here.
